Update: Bison Blockchain was effectively removed from the industrial bitcoin mining sites near Cheyenne, lost six local jobs (and 10 more local jobs that were planned), and filed suit against two conglomerates of Chinese Bitcoin miners. The lawsuit is active and ongoing. The Chinese bitcoin miners are using Wyoming’s energy resources to mine Bitcoin, offshore the mined Bitcoin, and keep their operations and personnel near the FE Warren Air Force Base and Wyoming critical infrastructure. The conglomerates now have a team of 16 lawyers (from six law firms—two in New York, one in California, and three in Cheyenne) working for them.
